Protesters clashed with police in Paris on Saturday, April 16, amid anti far-right demonstrations ahead of the French presidential runoff next week.

French media reported that while demonstrations were mostly in opposition to far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, some protesters carried signs and chanted slogans critical of incumbent president Emmanuel Macron.
