Neighbours rescue girl hanging from third-floor window in China

Residents rescued a girl hanging from a third-floor window in southwestern China. The heroic video filmed in Zhenxiong County in Yunnan Province on September 18 shows a girl hanging from a third-floor window as she got her head stuck in the security bars. Residents were seen holding a quilt under the building in case the girl fell down. A man was seen tied by a bedsheet and lowered down to the girl from the building's roof while other neighbours broke into the flat and opened the window to rescue the girl at the same time. The girl was later brought back into the flat successfully. According to reports, the girl accidentally fell down onto the security bars when she was left at home alone as her grandmother went to send another child to school. The girl was sent to hospital after being rescued. Fortunately, she was not injured seriously. The video was provided by local media with permission.
