Neighbours teen Mackenzie Hargreaves bitterly blames her boyfriend Richie Amblin for Shane and Dipi Rebecchi's marriage breakdown next week.

Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) lashes out in an irrational moment as the pressure of the heartbreaking situation takes its toll on her.

Upcoming episodes on Channel 5 see Dipi move out of Number 30 and in with Sheila Canning at Number 26, needing space from her husband Shane after her affair with Pierce Greyson has been exposed.

Dipi and Shane's daughter Yashvi makes the surprising decision to concentrate on supporting her mum in the aftermath, seeing that she has nobody else in her corner.

Mackenzie has the opposite reaction when she finds out, believing that Shane – as the wronged party – is the person best deserving of support.

Yashvi doesn't react well to Mackenzie's comments and warns her to mind her own business, making Mackenzie feel like an outsider in the family.

Meanwhile, Shane grows increasingly frustrated over Dipi's distant behaviour as she hasn't given him any answers over why she cheated.

As Shane's agitation grows, he spots Richie's ADHD medication when the schoolboy is paying a visit to Number 30.

Shane is severely tempted to take the pills and realises that he needs to attend a Narcotics Anonymous meeting before his addiction spirals out of control again.

When Mackenzie finds out what happened, she berates Richie (Lachie Millar) for being so careless and leaving his medication lying around in Shane's presence.

Mackenzie then goes a step further and blames Richie for the whole affair drama, pointing out his role in Shane's addiction and how it ultimately drove the Rebecchis apart.

It doesn't take long for Mackenzie to regret her harsh outburst, knowing deep down that Richie was not to blame for Dipi's affair.

Harlow Robinson and Roxy Willis help Mackenzie to see that her fear of sleeping with Richie is what caused her to lose her temper.

Taking this on board, Mackenzie finally tells Richie that she feels insecure, and their relationship seems to get back on track. But is everything okay with Richie, or has he been hiding something too?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, December 1 and Wednesday, December 2 at 1pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
