Neighbours spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Neighbours' Shane Rebecchi could finally get the help he needs next week, as Toadie Rebecchi seeks him out in his secret hideaway.
Shane (Nicholas Coghlan) has been struggling with a drug addiction in recent weeks, but his friend and workmate Roxy Willis is the only person who has discovered this so far.
Next week, Shane's loved ones start to worry about his continued absence from Erinsborough.
Upcoming episodes see Shane claim that he's going to stay with his brother Stonie in Colac for a while, explaining that he wants to clear his head after lashing out at Roxy (Zima Anderson) in an angry and unacceptable outburst.
In reality, Shane has gone to stay in his old home town of Bourke, hoping that he can tackle his addiction away from prying eyes.
After a few days of silence from Shane, his brother Toadie (Ryan Moloney) and wife Dipi (Sharon Johal) both start to realise that something bigger is going on.
Toadie seeks answers from Roxy, prompting her to reveal the worrying truth about Shane and where he really is.
Toadie ends up travelling to Bourke to bring Shane back home again. He finds him hiding away in a shed, still in a terrible state.
Shane explains that he has been trying to overcome his addiction by limiting his intake of drugs, with longer gaps each time. Toadie warns that this is a bad idea without proper supervision.
Toadie, who has previous experience of supporting his late wife Sonya through her addictions, shows some sympathy with Shane and encourages him to come home.
During the long drive home, Toadie offers further advice to Shane and listens to his fears. Will there be a turning point for Shane once he's back on Ramsay Street?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
