Neighbours spoilers follow for UK-pace episodes on Channel 5.
Neighbours airs a sad split for Dee Bliss and Toadie Rebecchi next week.
The reunited couple agree that they don't have a future as they'll never be able to get on the same page over Dee's mother Heather Schilling.
Dee (Madeleine West) is keen to get to know her mum and has been paying regular visits to her at the jail. Toadie (Ryan Moloney) has reluctantly accepted this, on the condition that she keeps him and the kids out of it.
Next week, Dee feels emotional after her latest conversation with Heather (Kerry Armstrong) at the prison.
When Toadie notices this, he immediately jumps to the conclusion that Heather has let Dee down in some way.
As Toadie continues to share his negative view on Heather, it pushes Dee to breaking point. She announces that, if Toadie can't accept Heather's position in her life, they'll have to split up.
Toadie and Dee ultimately reach the mutual conclusion that, although they still love each other, the Heather issue will always come between them. As they don't want to spend all of their time fighting, they agree it's time to call it quits.
Finally free to do things her way, Dee returns to the prison and asks Heather for details on her biological father, wanting to track him down.
Heather pretends that she can't remember anything about him, but later requests a visit from Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) and admits that this isn't entirely true.
Heather can remember the name of Dee's father – Peter Wilson – and that he was once involved in a nasty riding accident. She suggests that Karl could check out medical records at the hospital to track down the correct Peter.
Karl decides that he's getting too involved in Heather's dramas, so passes the information onto Dee but declines to play any part.
Left to search for her father alone, Dee is tempted to illegally access medical records at the hospital. Will she cross the line?
Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, June 22, Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
