Neelofa becomes Airbnb host this Eid

12 May – Airbnb is warmly welcoming you to its first-ever celebrity hosted Raya Open House this festive season, hosted by none other than well-loved Malaysian celebrity, Neelofa.

The renowned actress, television host and entrepreneur is now adding Airbnb Host to her repertoire, as she welcomes guests to the ultimate Raya getaway at one of her favourite family-friendly Airbnb stays in Selangor's lush countryside, Sekebun Bunga.

Neelofa will be co-hosting the stay alongside local Airbnb Superhosts, Susean and Izu.

"Raya is always the most important and meaningful time of the year for me and my family," said Neelofa. "This Hari Raya Aidilfitri, I'm incredibly delighted to become an Airbnb Host and co-host Airbnb's inaugural Open House in one of my favourite Superhost stays in the countryside. I can't wait to share with guests the warmth and hospitality that are a huge part of my own family celebrations, and cook up a feast together."

Guests will get to immerse themselves in nature and the warm hospitality of their Hosts – including an exciting culinary adventure with Neelofa. The talented homecook will teach guests how to whip up a delicious Raya dish from scratch, inspired by one of her very own family recipes.

Located less than an hour's drive out from Kuala Lumpur, the charming Sekebun Bunga offers visitors an idyllic nature retreat to celebrate and reconnect with loved ones. The villa comes with three cozy bedrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen, ensconced amidst lush forests and a bubbling river stream. Guests can enjoy quiet afternoons exploring the grounds, or relaxing with loved ones in the shade of the villa's garden gazebos.

Airbnb's inaugural Raya Open House will take place over two nights from 20-22 May 2023. The one-off stay can accommodate up to seven guests, and is bookable for a special price of RM100 only. The price will be reflected on the listing once booking goes live at airbnb.com/rayawithneelofa next Monday, 15 May at 9 A.M. MYT sharp - fastest fingers first.
