The only thing better? Her matching button-up maxi skirt.
While there was no shortage of A-listers in attendance during Monday night’s CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City (see: Anne Hathaway and Demi Moore), few stars managed to shine brighter than Kim Kardashian. Her outfit of choice for the evening? Not one, but two (!) stunning Chrome Hearts matching sets, both of which took turns showing off her back and décolletage throughout the evening.
Kicking off her week by spending an evening at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday, Kardashian first arrived at the ceremony wearing a black Chrome Hearts leather skirt set comprised of an open-back, halter-neck crop top and a body-hugging, cross-covered black skirt. The SKIMS founder accessorized with nothing but a pair of sky-high black heels and a smattering of rings, and she wore her brunette hair up in a Pamela Anderson-style ‘90s updo.
Managing to somehow top herself just hours after the ceremony concluded, Kim later stepped out ahead of Odell Beckham Jr.’s birthday party wearing a similar Chrome Hearts set, save for one key difference: the top’s plunging lace-up V-neckline. For her second look of the evening, the mother-of-four kept the same skirt while slipping into yet another crop top from the fashion house that featured a similar cross-covered texture and halter-neck look. Opting to capitalize on the new neckline, Kardashian styled her second look with layers of chunky silver cross necklaces, and she kept her hair styled in the same updo as before.
During the ceremony, Kim presented the CFDA’s Fashion Icon Award to longtime pal Serena Williams — which marked the first time an athlete has ever won the award — while calling the tennis legend “fearless, heroic, authentic, iconic — the greatest of all time.”
