Miles Bridges posterizes Clint Capela with ferocious dunk of the year finalist

It's not every day you get to see a dunk that absolutely obliterates an opposing player to the point that you're not even sure they exist anymore.

Fortunately, today you get to see one.

During the game between the Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets on Sunday afternoon, the Hornets' Miles Bridges posterized Clint Capela of the Hawks into another dimension.

If you look closely, you can actually see Capela's soul leave his body. But if you're not sure about the utter ferocity of that slam, you can see it from several other angles. And believe me: You want to see this majestic dunk from as many angles as possible.

Bridges was thrilled later on Sunday night on social media, too.

Bridges and his team-high 23 points couldn't get the Hornets the win (they lost 105-101 to the Hawks), but if dunks decided wins, we know how this game would have ended.

Dunk of the year?

With less than two months left in the regular season, it's clear that Bridges' slam is a legit dunk of the year finalist. (To be fair, it could have happened on the first night of the regular season and it still would have been a dunk of the year candidate.)

But just how good is it? Is it better than the Sacramento Kings' Maurice Harkless embarrassing the Detroit Pistons just a few days ago?

Is Bridges' dunk better than Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves executing a flawless and destructive flying dunk against the Toronto Raptors back in February?

How can anyone possibly choose between them? They're all amazing and perfect in their own way. Unless your favorite team was the victim of one of these dunks, in which case your decision is probably a little easier.
