National Television Awards 2021 postponed again

The National Television Awards 2021 have been pushed back for a second time, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Originally set to go ahead this month, the glitzy ceremony was rescheduled for April, but now the prizes won't be handed out until Thursday, September 9.

Executive producer Kim Turberville announced (via Metro): "The NTAs will return to The O2 London in September to mark the UK's best, boldest and most beloved TV shows with a surprise-packed event – and we look forward to seeing you on the night for a celebration like no other."

We should mention that existing tickets will be honoured in September.

During last year's NTAs, ex-Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson was one of the standout gong recipients as she came out on top in the Best Factual Entertainment Show category for Odd One Out.
