Natalie Tong, Grace Wong happy to work with Nina Paw
18 Sep – Natalie Tong and Grace Wong were both excited about the chance to work with veteran actress Nina Paw in the upcoming series, "My Family Has No Hardships".
As reported on Mingpao, the two actresses who appeared at the press conference of the said series recently, shared that they are planning to learn more from the veteran actress herself, as it would be their first time collaborating with her.
Said Grace, "I was offered the opportunity to work with Nina on "The Unholy Alliance" before, but I wasn't able to take it as it clashed with my other drama, "A General, A Scholar and A Eunuch". So when the producer asked me this time, I immediately said yes."
As for Natalie, the actress stated that she has always been moved by Nina's performance.
"When I heard that she will be making her TVB return, I was very eager to cooperate with her," she admitted.
Natalie revealed that Nina will play the role of her mother-in-law in the new series, while Joe Ma will be playing her husband.
Asked if she would be confident doing a comedy series, Natalie stated that she found it very handy to have done a comedic performance in the previous series, "Super Emissary", which has not been aired just yet.
On the other hand, when mentioned that their series, "Chinatown" has had its airing date postponed, Natalie and Grace stated that they are certain that TVB will launch the series at the right time.
