Naomi Campbell is giving fans a rare glimpse into her life away from the flashbulbs and high fashion usually associated with her life as a supermodel. In a new interview, she opened up about how being a mom is constantly teaching her new things and that being a mother is the "biggest joy" of her life. Previously, Campbell shared that she welcomed a daughter via surrogate in May 2021 and then a son in June 2023.

“It’s the biggest joy,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “The biggest blessing is to have these two innocent, beautiful souls and for me to be able to be their mother. I learn a lot each day. They’re good kids.”

"A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother," she captioned an Instagram post when she announced the arrival of her daughter (the post has since been deleted). "So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love."

Since she revealed that she had become a mother, Campbell has kept their names a secret, as well as their actual birthdays. While she didn't offer any details about them in her new interview, she told Bazaar that they love to travel, though they don't always tag along when she has work.

“I definitely don’t take them from New York to London for a two-day shoot," she said. "That’s too much, but my kids love to travel."

In an interview with The Times, Campbell opened up about how being a mom has changed her outlook on just about everything, noting that they're her top priority now (sorry, runways) and that she hopes to be there with them for every milestone.

“My babies are everything to me. It’s made me fear for the future,” she said. “I hope for a better world for my children. They are 110 percent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school.”
