Naomi Campbell opens up about 'dream child' for the first time
Naomi Campbell has given fans a rare insight into her life as a mum, saying she has a “dream child”.
The catwalk queen, 51, announced earlier this year that she had welcomed a daughter but has not shared many details.
She has now opened up about her baby, telling BBC HARDtalk: “I'm really lucky, I think I have a dream child."
“She is wonderful, she’s very independent already," she went on. "Very smart, alert, sleeps 12 hours. Good girl.”

Campbell also said she was going to raise her daughter with her values.
The star made the surprise announcement that she was a mum in May, sharing a photo of her hand holding two tiny feet peeking out at the bottom of a dress.
"A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother. So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life," the model wrote on Instagram.
"There are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."

Campbell had previously said she had long considered motherhood and planned to do it when she was ready.
Speaking to the Sunday Times in 2016, she said: “Well, I’m not saying I won’t have children. I could have children. I just don’t know which way I’ll have children. But I think I’ll have children, everyone thinks I’ll be a good mother.
“I’ve always considered it. I’ll just do it when I’m ready. I’m not rushing to anyone’s drumbeat, I’m going to my own.”
