Nancy Sit is slowly accepting Tam Ping Man's passing

23 Sep – Nancy Sit recently admitted that she is slowly accepting the fact that her good friend Tam Ping Man has passed away.

As reported on Mingpao, the veteran actress, who spoke to the media at the late actor's memorial service at the Universal Funeral Parlour, stated, "I was very unwilling at first. But for the past two weeks, I think he was happy. He was already in his 80s. His daughter said that he went peacefully."

Nancy stated that her only regret was the fact that she didn't get to visit Tam at the hospital due to strict rules following the pandemic.

"At the time, he told me not to worry and planned to tell me all about it after he was discharged. But then he passed away and I was so heartbroken that I couldn't help but cry," she said.

The actress believes that Tam is now at peace and that his legacy will remain here on earth.

"I will always miss him and his optimistic attitude towards life. He often encourages us to be strong and cherish everything in front of us," she added.

Tam passed away on 5 September three months after he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He was 86.
