Nadine Lustre uses free time to pen her own songs
28 May – With the pandemic giving her more time at home, Nadine Lustre recently revealed that she has been using that extra time to pen her own songs for her upcoming album.
As reported on Inquirer, the actress who was interviewed on FM radio station RX 93.1 recently, shared that while she never had any time to sit down and write in the past due to her hectic schedule, she now has the luxury of getting into her head and expresses her thoughts through music.
"I want my music to express myself and share my story. That's what a good album is, when it comes from you and when it comes from the heart," she said.
Lustre added that she has been writing a lot of songs already and collaborating with her producers on these tracks, including one about her brother Isaiah, who took his own life a few years ago.
She also admitted that that particular song was the hardest to record, as she spent more time crying than practising.
However, the actress made no mention as to how many songs are there that she has actually written, only that she is encouraged to write more in the future.
