Nad Zainal thankful to Ungku Ismail Aziz for assistance
27 Dec – Nad Zainal recently expressed her gratitude to fellow actor Ungku Ismail Ungku Abdul Aziz for assisting her family while she was battling for her life in the ICU.
The actress, who held her first TikTok live session following her return after a month-long stay in hospital, stated that she appreciated her "Cina Buta" co-star, though declined to share more about the nature of their relationship.
"A lot of people were curious as to why Ungku Ismail would often share my updates. The thing is, at the crucial time of my health situation, my parents were getting tons of questions from relatives and netizens alike. They were already stressed out by their daughter's condition, so my dad allowed Ungku Ismail to explain it to everybody as he was able to do it better," she said.
As to why the actor decided not to share more news about her after a while, Nad stated that the actor wanted the family to have some peace following rumours that she has died.
In the same live session, the actress stated that the experience has made her appreciate life even more. She also added that she will be taking a break from acting for the time being due to her health and following the advice of family and friends.
