Nabila Huda aims to do her best on "Melodi"

26 Jul – Now that she is officially the new host of TV3's long-running entertainment news programme, "Melodi", Nabila Huda hopes to bring something to call her own to the show.

The actress expressed her thoughts about the hosting gig in an Instagram post published on 25 July, writing, "Today marks a day in history as I leave my comfort zone in my career. Now begins my new life and responsibility to continue the legacy of the number one most sensational and controversial entertainment show in Malaysia. It was an exceptional honour to be part of this team."

Nabila expressed hopes that her fans and the public alike will give her the support in her journey as the solo host of the show, adding that she will do her best to just be herself instead of copying the previous hosts of the show.

"If there is any weakness, forgive me. But please do not expect me to be better than others, but expect the unexpected. I might not be the best, but I'll give you my very best. Let's enjoy this new journey together, Malaysia!" she added.

It is noted that previous host Awal Ashaari recently took to social media to bid his farewell, and even admitted to being a little surprised by how sudden the news came to him and co-host Janna Nick.

Awal has been hosting the said show for seven years, the longest among others, following the likes of other notable hosts including Raja Azura, Wahid SENARIO, and Fauziah Ahmad Daud.
