Nabil Aqil says Syafiq Kyle is still mum about wedding cancellation

15 Aug – Nabil Aqil recently stated that Syafiq Kyle is still keeping mum on the reason why his wedding with Mimi Lana was suddenly cancelled.

The actor, who is also Syafiq's nephew, stated that his family still has no clue as to why it turned out that way, seeing that the wedding, which was to be held on 18 August, is just around the corner.

"I only found out about it via our family WhatsApp group. I was surprised as well," he said.

Nabil also stated that he is not that close to Mimi, but that he has already regarded her as an aunt.

"She is very calm and chill. I feel comfortable with her," he said.

News of the cancellation rocked the showbiz gossip world, especially after it was confirmed by Mimi's manager, Iman Tang. The two were supposed to tie the knot in an event in Puncak Rimba, Bentong.
