A fire broke out near the airfield of occupied Simferopol on Oct. 31, according to the Crimean Wind monitoring group.
“The fire occurred near the airfield in the vicinity of the village of Vilne near Dzhankoy,” Crimean Wind reported.
“However, sometimes you can't see equipment and warehouses catch fire. But the secondary ignition of grass, forest, and fields is clearly visible. For example, from the dispersion of shrapnel.”
The group published satellite images that were taken at 2:23 p.m.
Earlier, the Crimea-based Atesh guerrilla movement discovered the base of the 126th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade in occupied Simferopol and published photos of the area.
