Myanmar Anti-Coup Protesters Launch 'Easter Egg Strike'

Protesters against the military takeover in Myanmar painted protest slogans on Easter eggs on April 4, in what was described as a “symbol of defiance” against the country’s military which seized power on February 1.

This footage, by San Thawdar Phyo, shows several symbols of protest painted onto eggs, including the three-finger salute and phrases calling for democracy.

According to social media posts, the eggs were handed out by young protesters, displayed on the streets in protest, or left on doorsteps.
