Musa finally returns to Sungai Manila, urges voters to reject Shafie
SABAH POLLS | Former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman has finally returned to Sungai Manila ahead of tomorrow's polls, rallying BN supporters to reject Warisan Plus candidates and interim chief minister Shafie Apdal.
In his speech, Musa claimed Shafie had, throughout the campaign trail across Sabah, attempted to cover-up Warisan's alleged weaknesses by laying the blame on him.
"He can't administer the state so he started to point fingers, (so) who is wrong? Musa Aman!
"Now listen, that big office you (Shafie) are sitting in, who built it? We did!" Musa said to cheers from over 200 BN supporters in Sungai Manila, a new constituency carved out of Sungai Sibuga, the seat he held since 1994.
Sungai Manila, Sungai Sibuga and Gum-Gum fall under the Libaran parliament seat. Musa also previously led Libaran Umno for over 20 years until 2018 when he was replaced by Suhaimi Nasir.
Appearing in high spirits, Musa, in his campaign for BN's Sungai Manila candidate Mokran Ingkat, further mocked Shafie for allegedly taking undue credit over developments projects initiated during his time as chief minister.
"We have done a lot of things. What did he do? What did Warisan do?
"He has two positions, 'the launcher' and 'the ribbon cutter'... we developed the projects, we got the funds, we put in the effort," said Musa.

Musa also insisted that since he is no longer in the running to contest and be the next chief minister, there should have been no reason for Shafie's alleged attacks against him.
"Maybe he is afraid of my shadows," Musa further claimed.
Aside from Mokran, Musa is also scheduled to campaign for BN's Sungai Sibuga candidate Mohamad Hamsan Awang Supain.

Musa triggered the state polls after his failed coup against Shafie earlier this month and was previously speculated to contest the Sungai Manila seat after he tweeted about his possible return to the area.
He had kept a low profile after a no show on nominations day but later appeared on the campaign trail for PN and BN candidates across Sabah, including at functions attended by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
Musa retained his Sungai Sibuga seat after the Sandakan High Court struck out on technical grounds an election petition filed by Warisan's candidate Asmara Abdul Rahman to render the results null and void.
In the petition, Asmara reported alleged cheating when there was a deliberate delay over the signing of Form 14 after ballot counting.
