Multiple Fires Burn in East London Amid Record-Breaking Temperatures
Drone footage captured on Tuesday, July 19, shows three fires burning in the East London area, amid record-breaking temperatures in the United Kingdom.
Footage posted to Facebook on Tuesday afternoon shows smoke rising into the sky. According to the post, the fires burned in Beam Valley park, Wennington, and Upminster.
Other footage posted by social media users shows smoke from several fires across the Essex region, where the fire department said they received over a hundred calls “between 10 am and midday” on Tuesday.
