Multiple Fatalities Reported in Moscow Hotel Fire

At least seven people, including two children, were killed after a fire broke out in a multi-story building in Moscow, Russia, late on Tuesday, February 21, according to local reports citing authorities.

Russian state news agency TASS said another victim died in hospital, bringing the death toll to seven. The building houses a hotel and a former hostel, TASS reported.

Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations released footage on Telegram of fighters extinguishing the blaze on Mezhdunarodnaya Street.
