"Mr. Player" suspends taping to mourn Alien Huang

21 Sep – Producers of the Taiwanese variety show, "Mr. Player" recently revealed that they will be suspending taping temporarily to mourn the passing of Alien Huang.

As reported on Epoch Times, the show recently released a statement to the media, saying that the cast and crew of the show have a very good relationship with him, and so the news of Huang's passing really shocked and saddened everybody.

"The current show already has five new episodes archived, and it was all Huang's hard work. It will be broadcast as per usual," it added.

The show also revealed that they will cancel next week's taping to help assist Huang's family in dealing with the funeral.

On the other hand, "Mr Player" also changed its Facebook profile with a black box to mourn the singer's passing.

An autopsy is scheduled September to further investigate the cause of Alien Huang's death, after his lifeless body was discovered at home on 17 September by his own father. He was 36.
