Move Over, Travis & Taylor: Ross & Rachel Are Back As Jennifer Aniston And David Schwimmer Reunite For Super Bowl Commercial

Taylor and Travis won’t be the only high-profile couple stealing the Super Bowl show this Sunday.

A clever, attention-getting Super Bowl 2024 commercial for Uber Eats reunites one of the great romantic sitcom couples – David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, aka Ross and Rachel from Friends – to illustrate the company’s latest ad theme urging customers to remember to use the delivery service.

As with clips from the commercial released previously, the spot features some very absent-minded celebrities.

The commercial opens with an assistant handing Aniston, on a studio lot, a delivery from Uber Eats. After the assistant says, “I didn’t know you can get all this stuff on Uber Eats. I gotta remember that,” the former Friends star says, “Well, you know what they say: In order to remember something, you got to forget something else. Make a little room.”

At that point, Schwimmer strolls by and yells, “Jen! Hey!”

Aniston responds, “Have we met?” Despite some prodding, she still can’t place her old co-star. “Give me a hint,” she says. “Well, we worked together for ten years,” Schwimmer responds.

When Aniston pretends to remember, Schimmer says, You still don’t know, do you?” As Aniston walks away, she mumbles, “Like I’d forget ten years of my life.”

“I hate this town,” Schwimmer deadpans.

The full commercial with the high-profile pairing was released today, following previously released snippets featuring Victoria and David Beckham, both struggling to remember the name of Spice Girls and Jelly Roll, confused as to how he got his face tattoos.

The kicker: Usher, set to headline this Sunday’s halftime show, completely forgetting the big gig.

Super Bowl LVIII, with the Kansas City Chiefs squaring off against the San Francisco 49ers, airs Sunday, February 11, on CBS beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
