Mourners Gather at Scene of Seoul's Deadly Halloween Crowd Crush

People gathered in Seoul’s Itaewon neighborhood on Monday, October 31, to mourn and pay tribute to the victims of a deadly crowd crush during Halloween festivities over the weekend.

Footage by TikToker @diefebri19 shows flowers laid on the footpath near the alley where the crush occurred on Saturday night. A memorial altar was also established in Seoul Plaza.

At least 154 people were killed in the crush, 26 of which were foreign nationals, South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency reported. Credit: @diefebri19 via Storyful
