This Morning viewers in hysterics as they label Spin to Win caller Rita as 'best ever'
This Morning had viewers in hysterics on today's (December 2) episode after a particularly hilarious Spin to Win guest.
While the game segment is usually pretty standard fare on the ITV daytime show, caller Rita brightened up everyone's day with her enthusiasm.
The caller quickly had hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield loving her antics with her somewhat scatterbrained approach.
"Do you know what it was my birthday on Monday?" she revealed at one point, as Phil asked whether it was last Monday or next week – though Rita clearly hadn't heard his reply as she answered: "Yes, 77!"
Then, as she was about to start the game, Rita revealed that her husband David was around too, telling the hosts: "Wait a minute, let me just tell David! Hang on!"
She could then be heard shouting to him in the background that she was on TV, as Holly and Phil (and the nation) waited for his answer.

Rita then clarified that he was indeed there, and Phil suggested they say hello to him as Rita could be heard shouting: "David, say hello to Holly and Phil!"
Once he said hello, Rita then ushered the presenters to get on with the game, Phil replying: "We're waiting for you to get your husband! The whole nation was waiting for David!"
However, it got even better as Rita revealed that their dog, Buddy, was also there, before going on to win £1,000.

Her reaction was delayed due to watching it on the TV, however, with her enthusiastic shouts coming in nearly 10 seconds later. Phil's head could then be seen in his hands (speaking for us all there, Phil).
"That is probably one of the best we've ever done, we've peaked," Phil then joked.
Viewers were absolutely loving Rita, with some suggesting she was the 'best' ever Spin to Win contestant:
