Flights are starting again today to countries added to the UK’s green travel list including Malta, Balearic and the Caribbean Islands. Passengers at Heathrow Airport today are excited to finally be able to travel to these popular holiday destinations again. The change first announced last week, means that travellers will no longer have to quarantine upon returning to the UK. Although holidaymakers will still face tight restrictions when travelling to some of these destinations. Including only gaining entry to Malta with proof of double-vaccination via a NHS paper letter and providing a negative Covid test if travelling to the Balearics. The next travel review will take place next month.
