More Than 50 Vehicles Used in Police Guard of Honor For Late Colleague

The Brick Township Police Department put on a moving tribute on May 1, with dozens of police cars forming a guard of honor for the widow of their late colleague.

Detective Sergeant Peter Ramsey (Ret.) died on April 27, aged 81.

This video shows Police Chief James Riccio and Lieutenant Joe Oliveri presenting Ramsey’s wife, Caroline, with flowers before officers in more than 50 vehicles drive past in tribute.

“Sgt. Ramsey was a great man and a great police officer," chief James Riccio said. “It was an honor to know him and a privilege to have had the opportunity to work alongside him. Pete will be missed.” Credit: Brick Township Police Department via Storyful
