Mona Allen announces second pregnancy

28 Dec - It took the couple four years to conceive their son Petra, and now Mona Allen revealed that she and husband Pekin Ibrahim will be having another baby.

Sharing the good news on Instagram, Mona said that Petra will be welcoming a sibling in mid-2024 as she is pregnant yet again.

"Praise be to Allah, I am now entering my second trimester, so it is time for me to share the good news on Instagram. Please pray for the ease of my pregnancy journey. Thank you to everybody for your kind and continuous prayers. Only Allah can repay your kindness," she said.

Mona then added jokingly, "Don't ask. You know why I gained weight now."

Fans and friends took to the comments to congratulate the couple, including actresses Hannah Delisha, Isyariana, Sharifah Shahora and her "Hati Yang Disakiti" co-star, Isyariana, the latter who posted, "Mona... [I love you]. Congratulations, babe.

China anchors 'monster ship' in South China Sea, Philippine coast guard says
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said on Saturday that China's largest coastguard vessel has anchored in Manila's exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the South China Sea, and is meant to intimidate its smaller Asian neighbour. The China coastguard's 165-meter 'monster ship' entered Manila's 200-nautical mile EEZ on July 2, spokesperson for the PCG Jay Tarriela told a news forum. The PCG warned the Chinese vessel it was in the Philippine's EEZ and asked about their intentions, he said.
