'Momma Moose' Reunited With Newborn Calves After Being Separated by Utah Traffic

A mother moose whose newborn twins got separated from her by traffic in Summit County, Utah, was reunited with her calves on May 18, after officers with the highway patrol intervened, officials said.

The Utah Highway Patrol said the calves were less than 24 hours old.

It said they got “mixed up” in traffic. “Our troops were able to get them reunited and watched them get clear of the roadways,” officials added.
