Moment of Silence at Arsenal-Zurich Match as Death of Queen Announced

A moment of silence was observed before the start of the second half of Arsenal’s Europa League match against FC Zurich at the Kybunpark in St Gallen, Switzerland, on Thursday, September 8, after the death was announced of Queen Elizabeth II.

The queen had served as the United Kingdom’s head of state since 1952; she was 96.
