The Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2022 is kicking off on Saturday (11 June), featuring 12 of the best Mobile Legends teams from all across Southeast Asia battling from 11 to 19 June in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a cut of the tournament's US$300,000 prize pool.

Here's everything you need to know about MSC 2022:

Teams

The 12 participating teams in MSC 2022 are comprised of the most recent seasonal champions and runners-up for the Mobile Legends Professional Leagues (MPL) in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia as well as two qualified teams from Myanmar and Thailand.

  • RRQ Hoshi - MPL ID Season 9 champions

  • ONIC Esports - MPL ID Season 9 runners-up

Malaysia:

  • TODAK - MPL MY Season 9 champions

  • Orange Esports - MPL MY Season 9 runners-up

Singapore:

Cambodia:

  • Impunity KH - MPL KH Spring champions

  • See You Soon - MPL KH Spring runners-up

Myanmar qualifier:

  • Falcon Esports

Mekong (Thailand, Vietnam, Laos) qualifier:

  • IDONOTSLEEP Esports

Format

MSC 2022 is split into two stages: the Group Stage and the Playoffs.

The tournament will kick off with the Group Stage from 11 to 12 June. The 12 teams have been divided into four groups of three teams each and will compete in a single round robin with best-of-two matches. The top two teams in each group will advance to the Playoffs while the third-placed teams will be eliminated.

Group C:

  • RRQ Hoshi

  • Omega Esports

Once the Group Stage has concluded, there will be a one-day break before the Playoffs begin on 14 June. The Playoffs will be a double-elimination bracket, where all the qualified teams will start in the upper bracket.

The MSC 2022's official English broadcast will be streamed live on the official Mobile Legends esports Facebook page as well as Twitch and YouTube channels.

The participating countries in the tournament will also have their own official broadcasts on their respective MPL Facebook pages and YouTube channels.
