Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Bus Inoculates Residents in Angeles City, Philippines

Officials in Angeles City, Philippines, opened a mobile vaccination center on October 27 in an effort to increase inoculation. Only 26 percent of the Philippine population has been vaccinated, according to reports.

This footage released by the City Information Office of Angeles City shows Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr visiting a mobile vaccination bus on Wednesday during a house-to-house inoculation program, the city wrote in a caption.

The Philippines’ 26 percent vaccination rate is the lowest among Southeast Asian countries, according to the Inquirer.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised travelers to be fully vaccinated before visiting the Philippines, which remained categorized as a “Level 3: High” COVID-19 threat.
