MLB postseason ratings up 95 percent on TBS, best since 2018

MLB fans really wanted to see the Los Angeles Dodgers get eliminated by the Atlanta Braves in the NLCS. Postseason ratings skyrocketed on TBS, giving the network its most watched MLB postseason since 2018.

Ratings were up an incredible 95 percent compared to last season, according to Turner Sports PR.

Ratings were also up 21 percent compared to 2019.

TBS shared postseason games with Fox, FS1 and MLB Network through the championship series. TBS was responsible for every National League game, including the wild-card game between the Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals. Postseason games averaged 4.4 million viewers on TBS.

Astros-Braves World Series matchup moves to Fox

With the World Series matchup set, games will move to Fox. The Braves will take on the Houston Astros in the 2021 MLB World Series.

The matchup features an Astros team trying to prove its cheating scandal didn't matter against an upstart Braves team that has faced doubts the entire postseason. The Astros are -145 favorites at BetMGM to win the World Series, which begins Tuesday night.

Framber Valdez and Charlie Morton will take the mound in Game 1.
