Missile System on Snake Island Hit, Ukrainian Military Says

Aerial footage released by the Ukrainian military on Monday, June 27, shows strikes on the Russian-held Snake Island in the Black Sea.

The Operational Command South released the footage. Storyful has not independently verified the date of the strikes.

Natalia Humeniuk, head of media for the command, told a press briefing that 10 targeted strikes were launched on Sunday night, according to a report by Ukrinform. A Pantsir-S1 missile system was hit, Humeniuk said. Credit: Operational Command South via Storyful
