Minnesota Gov Tim Walz announced on December 21 that he, his wife, and son had all tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of year-end holidays.
In a video released on Twitter, Walz said his son exhibited cold symptoms over the weekend, and after an initial negative test, tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning. Walz said both he and his wife then tested positive on Monday evening.
“As a dad, I’m super-concerned, obviously, for my family, but everybody’s doing well,” said Walz. The governor added that he was feeling no symptoms and that both he and his wife, Gwen, had received booster shots.
