Minister: We will never tolerate abuse of NHS staff

Sajid Javid defends the government's decision to provide extra funding for GPs to see more patients face to face saying remote consultations still have “an important role” but there needs to be “enough capacity” for patients to see their doctor in person. The health secretary also says the government “will never tolerate” abuse of staff in surgeries after accusations that the government was stoking up anti-GP rhetoric.
