Mimi Lana and Syafiq Kyle are still good friends, says manager

1 Feb - Syafiq Kyle and Mimi Lana still remain good friends with each other despite the cancellation of their wedding last year.

That's what their manager Iman Tang shared, following recent photos shared on social media by both parties, where they can be seen doing a photoshoot in matching blue traditional Malay garments.

"Though they didn't get married, it didn't mean that they are enemies. This is true because I was there. They are still friends until today and just finished doing a photoshoot to promote a local fashion brand," said Iman.

Iman also said that he hopes that both parties can focus on their careers for the time being, and that maybe love will creep its way back into their lives that way.

"I hope if they are back together, they will inform me much earlier because last time, I didn't know anything," he said.

Mimi and Syafiq, who had been on and off for many years, were supposed to tie the knot on 18 August. However, the two surprised many a few days before the wedding, saying that the wedding had been cancelled.
