Millie Bobby Brown has shared an emotional post on Instagram in which she breaks down into tears while describing a difficult encounter with a fan. The Stranger Things star took to Instagram Stories on Monday night to recount the moment a fan began filming her and wouldn't stop, even following her around to film her.

Describing the encounter, she said, "So I just went shopping with my mum for Christmas," she began. "And a girl came up to me and asked if I was - whatever, and I said 'yes', and she asked, 'can I take a video of you?' and I said 'um no'... but why would anyone wanted to be taken a video of, like of me, it's not like it's of the both of us. At the end of the day I don't need to justify it to anyone, if I don't want to be taken a video of I don't have to be.

"And I was paying and she walked past me and began to video me again, and I said, 'I'm a human being, what more can I ask from you,' and I asked her and she said, 'so I can't take a video of a human being?' and I said 'no, not when I've said no'," Millie adds.

"It just makes me upset when people try and push the boundary, and I just wish people were more respectful. I'm still trying to navigate this all and it's still overwhelming. I will take a picture with you but when you push the boundary and you try and fight me on it, it's my right to say no."

She ended the video saying, "I'm making this video to say you have to show more respect for others, no matter who they are, what they do, show respect human being to human being."

Well said, Millie.
