An Australian snake catcher safely removed a “mildly venomous” brown tree snake that was sleeping underneath a Queensland child’s bed on November 16.
This footage was posted to Facebook, and shows Stuart McKenzie from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 removing the snake. In the caption, McKenzie said the nocturnal snake was found when the family “pulled out the drawers full of Lego and saw the snake curled up under the bed.” He added, “it is highly likely that the [family’s] daughter spent the night sleeping with the snake in her room.”
