Mila Jirin wants to make music comeback
20 Dec - Mila Jirin recently admitted that she is in the process of coaxing her husband to allow her to make a singing comeback.
The singer-turned-entrepreneur, who was the first female winner of "Akademi Fantasia" through its fifth season, stated that she previously took a break from showbiz as she was worried she would not be able to focus on her family and business.
"I really do miss singing. I really want to continue with my singing career. I even sing when I put my son to sleep or when I am in the bathroom. But right now, I am trying to persuade my husband to let me perform again. It looks like he is slowly giving me the room for it," she said.
Mila stated that her husband only told her to make sure that she could balance three things in her life - her role as an employer, a mother and a singer.
"As a wife, I have to obey my husband. But he has been showing a lot of support whenever I perform at weddings that are held in our premises," she added.
Aside from getting her husband's approval, Mila stated that she has also been asking her fellow AF alumni and couple Akim and Stacy for a song.
