Beavis and Butt-Head ran for seven seasons on MTV, from March 1993 to November 1997, and was revived for Season 8 on the cable network in 2011. Mike Judge created the series and voices both main characters.

In other, originally-on-MTV animation news: Jodie, the Daria spinoff film that was to have black-ish‘s Tracee Ellis Ross voicing the title character, was nixed in March. First announced in 2018 as the series Daria & Jodie, the show evolved to solely focus on Jodie, with Ross joining the animated project in 2019. The proposed offshoot was ordered to series at Comedy Central in 2020 before settling as a film.
