Mikal Bridges traded from Nets to Knicks in stunning pre-draft deal

NEW YORK — The Villanova Knicks have reached their final form.

The Knicks and Nets agreed in principle to a deal sending star forward Mikal Bridges across the bridge from Barclays Center to Madison Square Garden, according to multiple reports.

In exchange for Bridges, the Knicks are sending four of their own unprotected first-round picks (2025, 2027, 2029 and 2031), a 2025 first-round pick from the Milwaukee Bucks, an unprotected pick swap and a second-round pick, as well as forward Bojan Bogdanovic to the Nets.

The move reunites Bridges with Knicks stars Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo.

Bridges, Brunson, Hart and DiVincenzo played together at Villanova on the 2016 Wildcats team that claimed the NCAA title.
