Microsoft Hack Becomes Global Crisis

Mar.08 -- Microsoft is at the epicenter of an emerging global cybersecurity crisis. An attack on the company's widely-used business email software is said to hit at least 60,000 people globally. Microsoft says cyberassault began with a Chinese government-backed hacking group and the European Banking Authority is one of the latest victims. It admitted on Sunday that access to personal data held through emails may have been compromised. Bloomberg Cybersecurity Reporter Jamie Tarabay spoke to Bloomberg’s Francine Lacqua on "Bloomberg Surveillance: Early Edition."
