Mickey Huang says wife Summer Meng cried over Alien Huang

21 Sep – Mickey Huang said that his wife Summer Meng was deeply affected by the news of Alien Huang's death.

As reported on Epoch Times, the TV entertainer who appeared at a charity event alongside Vivian Hsu recently, shared that his wife couldn't stop crying after finding out that Huang had passed away, as they were close friends.

"The two of them worked together in "Sweet Sweet Bodyguard" for 80 episodes. The relationship was very good," he added.

Mickey said that even he was affected by the loss, and deliberated on cancelling his attendance to the event.

"But I decided to go since it was a charity event. I thought I could help more people this way," he added.

Asked when was the last time he saw Huang, Mickey said that they never actually had any appointment to see each other, but that he and Summer did go to his exhibition back in February.

"My biggest regret was that I couldn't help him organise the exhibition. Three years ago, I planned to do so, and we originally wanted to hold it at a park in Taichung. We planned on showing off his personal collection and artwork, but in the end we had to cancel because the sponsors backed down," he said.

Mickey stated that the biggest lesson he learned from the tragedy was to always cherish the ones you love.

"You should bring love and cherish happiness instead of hate. Love at every moment so that there will be no regrets," he added.
