Michelle Pfeiffer Joins Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning in David E. Kelley’s Margo’s Got Money Troubles Series
Michelle Pfeiffer has boarded the cast of husband David E. Kelley’s adaptation of Margo’s Got Money Troubles, for Apple TV+.
Adapted from Rufi Thorpe’s novel of the same name, the eight-episode series follows Margo Millet (played by Elle Fanning), the child of a Hooters waitress and a former pro wrestler, whose affair with a college English professor results in a pregnancy at age 20. Alone with an infant, unemployed and on the verge of eviction, Margo forms a plan — to start an OnlyFans as an experiment, adapting some of her father’s advice from the world of wrestling to “craft” a compelling character that the audience will fall in love with.

Details on Kidman’s role still have yet to be announced.
Pfeiffer’s latest TV booking comes just weeks after Paramount Network made it official that the Golden Globe winner and Academy Award and Emmy nominee will be executive-producing and starring in the upcoming Yellowstone spinoff The Madison (fka 2024), “a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.” Production on that spinoff is slated to soon in Montana, New York and Texas, with an eye on a 2025 premiere.
