Michelle Keegan is weighing in on those rumours that she will be joining Celebrity Juice.
The Our Girl star had been linked in the press as the most likely contender to replace Holly Willoughy on Keith Lemon's ITV2 comedy panel show, following the This Morning presenter's announcement that she is quitting Celebrity Juice.
During her appearance on The One Show on Monday (May 4), Alex Jones and fill-in presenter Gethin Jones asked Keegan if there's any truth to the rumours linking to her joining Lemon and team captain Mel B on the next series.
"I can officially say that's not true," she revealed. "Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive fan of the show. I love the show, I find it hilarious.
"But, at the minute, no, no, that's not true."
Keegan's slight caveat at the end of her answer seems to leave the door open to the situation changing before Holly's replacement being announced.
Holly wrote on Instagram over the weekend that it was time to step away from Celebrity Juice after "12 years of fantastic chaos".
"I love the bones of you Lemon," she wrote to her co-host. "Thank you for making me laugh for twelve years... I’ll be back as a guest and just to make sure someone is keeping you in check... if I don’t see you through a week or next week or the week after... know you are always in my heart."
Celebrity Juice will continue this Thursday (May 7) with a social distancing episode at 10pm on ITV2, while The One Show continues Mondays through Fridays at 7pm on BBC One.
