Michael Bolton weighs in after social media user reports cops at singer's home: 'Thanks for checking!'

Bolton shared a brain tumor diagnosis in January.

Michael Bolton devotees were worried about the "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" singer Tuesday, after a fan reported that several police cars were spotted at his Connecticut home.

Bolton himself responded: "All is good!! Just prepping for a small landscape project," he wrote alongside a grinning emoji. "Thanks for checking!"

A rep for the singer did not immediately respond to a request for further comment.

In January, Bolton revealed that he was recuperating from surgery to remove a brain tumor. His medical team had located a mass that required immediate surgery just before the holidays.

"Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success," the two-time Grammy winner reported then. "I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family."

The situation meant Bolton needed to cancel some planned tour dates.

"For the next couple of months, I will be devoting my time and energy to my recovery which means I'll have to take a temporary break from touring," Bolton said. "It is always the hardest thing to postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon."

The 71-year-old's website currently lists numerous tour dates — five domestic and three international — beginning in January.

Along with his catalog of '80s and '90s hits, Bolton is scheduled to promote his latest album of original tunes, 2023's Spark of Light.

What's probably not on the tour — although it might be! — is his funny 2011 collaboration with Saturday Night Live comedy troupe the Lonely Island: "Jack Sparrow."

In September, he told Grammy.com that he'd long been interested in comedy when the opportunity arose.

"I was a big fan of theirs, and I was a big fan of Saturday Night Live, but I never thought I would carve out something like the 'Jack Sparrow' video, which opened up a generation, or two generations, behind me who have become fans since then."
