Flood and tropical storm warnings were issued across Miami, Florida, on November 8, ahead of Tropical Storm Eta reaching the coast.
The Sun Sentinel reported the tropical storm warnings were issued for Broward and Miami-Dade counties, and the storm could reach hurricane strength by the time it reaches Florida on Sunday night.
Six to nine inches of rain was forecast for south Florida through Tuesday, the report said.
