KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 2 (Bernama) -- Defending champions Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) have extended their winning streak to eight in the Malaysian Hockey League (MHL) after defeating Sumbangsih Cup runners-up Terengganu Hockey Team (THT) 2-0 at the Batu Buruk Hockey Stadium in Kuala Terengganu today.

"This victory is also a gift from the UniKL team to our player, Baljit Singh, who did not join the team to attend to the birth of his daughter today," said UniKL head coach Arul Selvaraj.

Meanwhile, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) recorded an 11-2 victory over sister club TNB Thunderbolts at the Bukit Jalil National Hockey Stadium to remain in second with 19 points after eight games.
